Founder & Director
Umer is a chartered accountant, qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He trained and worked across PwC, EY and Deloitte, including as a financial-instruments specialist, before moving into Jersey’s international finance centre, where he has spent more than seven years in fund accounting, reporting and systems, serving institutional clients including global banks, asset managers and private equity houses.
Along the way he did what most accountants don’t: he learned to build. Python, SQL, Power Platform, and a working depth in fund platforms that comes from living inside them rather than reading the manual. Finit exists because those two skill sets belong in the same person, the automation is designed by someone who understands what the numbers have to mean.
How we’re built
Deliberately small. Deliberately senior.
Finit doesn’t run a pyramid. There is no floor of juniors doing manual work billed by the hour, the repetitive work is done by systems, and the people on your engagement are the people who built them. You deal with whoever is actually doing the work, and the work gets faster over time instead of more expensive.
